or the steering cooling tubing and then back to the tank, and then from the steering oil storage tank into a flow direction to the booster pump.
The actual structure of the pipe is also different. The high-pressure pipe is braided by multiple layers of curtain or steel wire, while the low-pressure pipe may be braided by one layer,
mainly according to the designed system pressure. The pressure resistance of the high-pressure oil pipe of Chrysler Platinx is required to be 10Mpa, while that of the low-pressure pipe is only 1Mpa.
The use of mechanical steering device can realize the vehicle steering, when the steering shaft load is large, only rely on the driver's physical energy as steering energy is difficult to smooth steering.
The power steering system is formed by adding a set of steering afterforce device on the basis of the mechanical steering system. The steering afterburners relieve the driver of the steering wheel.
Steering energy comes from the driver's physical strength and from the engine (or motor), of which the engine (or motor) occupies a major part and is provided by the steering afterburners. Under normal conditions,
the driver can steer easily. However, when the steering afterforce device fails, it will return to the mechanical steering system. Generally speaking, the steering task can be undertaken by the driver alone.
(1) Hydraulic power steering system. The components of the steering afterforce device are: steering hydraulic pump 7, steering oil pipe 8, steering oil tank 6 and steering control valve and steering power cylinder
5 inside the integral steering gear 4, etc. When the driver turns steering wheel 1, the steering lever 9 is moved through the mechanical steering gear, and the steering knuck arm is driven to deflect the steering wheel,
thus changing the driving direction of the car. At the same time, the input shaft of the steering wheel also drives the steering control valve inside the steering wheel to rotate,
so that the steering power cylinder produces hydraulic force and helps the driver to turn and operate. As a result of the steering afterforce device, the driver can deflect the
steering wheel with much less steering torque than when using a mechanical steering system.
